What would do if we didn't have you?

Emma, What would we do with out you?

We wouldn't really blink....

We wouldn't really slide....

We wouldn't really get excited....
We wouldn't really Giggle...
We wouldn't really smile...
Again and....
again...

We wouldn't really say Oh....
We would never really look good in hats....
We wouldn't really laugh...
We wouldn't really stare people down...
We would never really look cute...
We would never really look innocent...
We would never really yell...
We would never really pout...
We would never really look like an angel...
We wouldn't really be charming...
We would never really make a silly face or blow raspberry's...
We wouldn't really YAWN...

But Seriously...

What would we do with out you?

Hot Air Balloons!!!

Every year we have the Hot air balloon races. They also have a glow show in the morning. Its cold but really fun.

This guy is the only guy in the world to be in a wheel-chair and be the pilot of the air balloon.

A Book

There is no frigate like a book
  To take us lands away,
Nor any courses like a page
  Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
  Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
  That bears a human soul!

- Emily Dickinson

My Shadow

I have a little shadow that goes in and out with me,
And what can be the use of him is more than I can see.
He is very, very like me from the heels up to the head;
And I see him jump before me, when I jump into my bed.

The funniest thing about him is the way he likes to grow-
Not at all like proper children, which is always very slow;
For he sometimes shoots up taller than an India-rubber ball,
and he sometimes gets so little that there's none of him at all.

He hasn't got a notion of how children ought to play,
And can only make a fool of me in every sort of way.
He stays so close beside me, He's a coward you can see;
I'd think shame to stick to nursie as that shadow sticks to me!

One morning, very early, before the sun was up,
I rose and found the shining dew on every buttercup;
But lazy little shadow, like an arrant sleepyhead,
Had stayed at home behind me and was fast asleep in bed.

I am poem.

I am a dancer and a 7th grader.
I wonder about the heavenly maker.
I hear the winds magical beat.
I see myself with point shoes on my feet.
I want to be a wonderful baker.
I am a dancer and a 7th grader.

I pretend to be on t.v.
I feel whats it like to fly like a bee.
I touch the charterers  in all my books.
I worry about all evil crooks.
I cry when I can't go to the lake.
I am a dancer and a 7th grader.

I understand the Bible.
I say "Live, Love, Laugh".
I dream about gymnastics.
I try to make my flips fantastic.
I hope that you know who I am.
I am a dancer and a 7th grader.

10 months old...and a day.

Here is Emma 10 months and one day old. She is standing on her own crawling really fast and every once in a while taking a few steps.

Chico with the Depoali's

We went to Chico for labor day weekend. And had a ton of fun. We went out on the the boat once with the Tier's and once with Sky and Henry. There were a few hours of great glass water and I got in some good jumps.
